At the present if you want to make phone call from Cambodia to the U.S. or Canada you can do it for free of charge using your Gmail account within your gmail when you sign in. There is no prepaid or post paid phone card to buy to make calls to these two places. What you need to do is to get a gmail account and setup the voice call from your computer or laptop. However, you need high speed internet with internet broadband, fiber optic internet or high speed mobile internet as available at the present from any ISP companies.
If you feel like technology is your best friend then you can carry your portable laptop with you where you can connect to WiFi internet or using USD 3G modem to go online. So you can use gmail or skype call to your friends or family members whom they use gmail or skype like you. If you prefer to make a call to a landline phone or mobile phone numbers from certain places around the world you can buy credit from them and get your mobile phone work with skype for example.
Then after having your mobile phone or laptop computer work as phone you can setup skype and load credit of your choices to make phone calls. The price is reasonable than buying a phone card from certain mobile companies or telephone operators to call overseas or calling back to Cambodia.
